Where & How to Catch Redfish

Redfish are commonly found on shallow grass flats, oyster bars, and along mangrove shorelines throughout Tampa Bay. These areas provide ideal feeding grounds where redfish hunt for crabs, shrimp, and baitfish.

We typically target redfish using live bait, artificial lures, or sight fishing techniques in shallow water. Calm conditions and higher tides often allow for sight fishing, where you can spot fish tailing or cruising before making a cast.
