Night time fishing is not something I always do. I had the pleasure of fishing the 2019 Sarasota Slam with my buddy Marty Slade and Team Slade Em. This tournament starts the afternoon of Friday and goes through the night into the Saturday afternoon weigh in. We ended up catching close to 50 snook from sunset to sun up. Most fish were in the high 20’s but we did get multiple fish over 35 inches with the biggest being 38 inches. We also flew a tarpon in one of the dock lights we fished in St. Pete that was over 100 lbs!

We ended the tournament around 1Pm on Saturday with a good enough stringer to take 1st Place in the Slam Division with a 38 inch snook, 37 inch red, and 18 inch trout. Good times with a good friend and I look forward to doing it again. I will bring my own coffee next time Marty!

Day and night charters are available now!
