The water temperatures have risen and that means the fish are ready to feed. With some great weather ahead, look for the snook and redfish to be on the prowl. April is always a great time of year to target these beauties and recent trips have had shots at trophy fish nearly every trip. We still haven’t seen the push of the oversized reds yet in Fort Desoto, but it won’t be long. The snook population is keeping us busy with the new closures set in due to the devastation of the 2018 red tide. The red tide is long gone and the fish are biting. Grab your friends and family and come tangle with some of the best inshore fishing you will see in 2019. The time is now!
